There exists a plethora of websites about the First World War, many of which contain useful information. The websites listed below, however, contain resources of particular use to schools. All links open in a new window.

http://www.greatwar.co.uk/westfront/resources/schools.htm A page containing details of resources useful to schools relating to the First World War. The site also contains information and material relating to key events in the Great War.

http://www.firstworldwar.com/ A site created by Michael Duffy which contains a wealth of material about the First World War. Practically no aspect is left uncovered!

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/pathways/firstworldwar/ A detailed exhibition on the First World War from the National Archives. It looks at the war itself, life at home, service records and the aftermath of the conflict. It uses documents from the National Archives and the Imperial War Museum.
